Ashley Michelle is doing Romanian Deadlifts (RDLs) – in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the 90 Day Fiancé star flaunts her amazingly fit figure in a two-piece exercise outfit while she executes the effective exercise at the gym. She shared the post via her Instagram Stories. What are the exercises responsible for her body? Here is everything you need to know about her workout routine.
In an Instagram video about her routine, Ashley revealed her secrets. “Oh, hey friends. Come to the gym with me. You’ve been asking for a while what I do at the gym, so I figured I would tell you,” she says about her strength training workout. According to the Mayo Clinic, strength and weight training help reduce body fat, preserve and increase lean muscle mass, and burn calories more efficiently. Strength training may also help you:
- Develop strong bones
- Manage your weight
- Enhance your quality of life
- Manage chronic conditions
- Sharpen your thinking skills
In her recent Instagram Story, she does an RDL. “Now we’re doing some single leg RDLs,” she says, referring to Romanian deadlifts. “You know, got to focus on the one glute at a time.”
Deadlifts are one of the most popular exercises for a reason – they work. “My main lift for the day was deadlifts,” she said. “I feel so strong when I’m deadlifting. I’m just warming up here.” Ashley can lift up to 205 pounds.
Hip thrusts are great for the core and the glute – but they aren’t easy. “Now we’re moving on to the dreaded hip thrust. God love them, love to hate ’em. But let me tell you, baby, they turn that flat pancake into a peach,” Ashley says. “Never skip your hip thrust ever. No matter how much they hurt. Get all the way down. Squeeze that booty at the top all the way down. Squeeze the booty at the top. Yeah, boo. I was tired, but we did it.”
Ashley loves kettlebell swings. “So I work a lot with kettlebells. I don’t know, there’s something about them. They just make me feel strong.”
Ashley also enjoys aerial silks. “Finding new ways to get active and move my body,” she captioned a TikTok post of herself doing aerial silks.
