Over the years, the 90 Day Fiance community has followed many stars through hardship and lost.
Though he hasn’t appeared on the show in some time, Tim Malcolm‘s arc in 90DF was unforgettable, and he made frequent appearances on Pillow Talk in subsequent years.
Now he’s opening up about his loss.
Screen Legion reports that Tom’s sister-in-law Tonda has passed away after battling a rare form of cancer.
Tim shared that during her illness, Tonda “put up a hell of a fight.”
“Tonda was a fighter and battled this rare form of small cell lung cancer for over 2 years being diagnosed a month or so before the quarantine,” Tim shared in an emotional Instagram update. “For this reason Tonda battled the majority of this illness with rigorous chemo and radiation treatments alone sometimes for 8 hours a day with no one allowed to be sitting with her. This is what breaks my heart the most. I would have given up so much sooner than she did but the love for her husband and her boys kept her fighting.”
“Tonda was also who helped me with every charity auction I ever did, she was an exemplary mother, family member, wife, sister and and most of all..she was my friend,” Tim continued. “Thank you guys for remembering her story and continuing to send prayers and well wishes to me over the last 2 years. It’s been rough for our family, however I am so happy that Tonda finally gets the peace she so well deserved.”
He signed off by saying, “Kiss your loved ones, tomorrow is never guaranteed.”
