Store your shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and face cleanser individually yet also all in one place with this four-in-one travel bottle.

“It actually comes with four separate compartments inside, which is perfect if you’re traveling with multiple products,” noted Villaneda.

Each bottle is also removable, so you can easily take the product apart and use only the toiletries you need.

2 | Shower caps that serve as pouches for your shoes

The last thing you want is your suitcase smelling like stinky feet, or the bottom of your shoes rubbing up against your clothes and souvenirs. Enter: cheap shower caps.

“This is a must-have,” Villaneda raved of her shoe travel hack. “You wrap these around your shoes, keeping everything in your suitcase clean.”

Dollar Tree sells a 10-pack of shower caps for $1.25, which is enough for five pairs of shoes.

3 | Mesh laundry bags that double as packing cubes

“I love using these to organize individual outfits, and then putting the dirty clothes back in the bags,” said Villaneda.

Available in packs of three, the reusable mesh bags have zipper closures for safe-keeping. They all come in the same standard size, which can hold one full outfit—though, you may need to divy up clothing items if you’re packing thicker layers.

No travel jewelry case, no problem! Villaneda said you can “feed your necklaces” right through a plastic straw and clasp the chain, so “it won’t get tangled while traveling.”

From there, she likes to use a makeup brush holder to store her necklaces. This nifty hack will only cost you $2.50 total.

5 | A pill organizer for storing loose jewelry pieces

As for storing earrings and rings, Villaneda opts for a weekly pill organizer. She’s able to fit two sets of mini hoops in each container. There’s also been instances where she’s fit bracelets, depending on their shape and size.

6 | Mini condiment containers for holding lotions and creams

When it comes to packing body lotion and skincare, Villaneda uses portable salad dressing bottles (like what would fit in a lunch pail) from Dollar Tree’s kitchen section. They’re sold individually for $1.25, with a flip-top lid that can also be screwed open for easy refilling.

“I love storing lotion in these while I travel because they allow you to squeeze out all of the product,” she explained.
