In the black-and-white clip, the 7 Little Johnstons star pointed at the camera at the baby girl.
The little one wore a onesie with images of strawberries on the front.
Leighton looked around wide-eyed before laughing and smiling at the camera.
She captioned the post: “Happy Friday!”

In an online thread, critics called out the new mom for not having her newborn strapped to her car seat.
One critic argued: “No car seat?!
“Did they take the baby out of the car seat just for a photo op? I hope there’s a car seat back there…”
A second critic complained: “Calloway Gardens is a drive-through light show.
“I’m sure they are driving through without the baby in the car seat.”
A third critic ranted: “I don’t care if they are ‘driving slow,’ ‘off of the main road,’ or ‘just taking her out for a feeding.’
“If you have a platform as big as they do, you DO NOT post a photo of a newborn in a car not in a car seat. Period.”
A fourth person wrote: “Oh my god! So dangerous.
“I’m sure the baby is fine, and they are going slow, but why even bother and risk it?
“It’s not like she is a baby or toddler who can even see and enjoy the lights… she’s still a newborn…. so odd.”

Rumors of a breakup circulated after fans noticed matriarch Amber Johnston, 44, sharing photos of daughter Liz caring for the granddaughter at her $400,000 Georgia home.
Near the end of November, Amber took to social media and uploaded a snapshot of Liz sleeping on the couch.
While Liz was asleep, she held her newborn in her arms.
Fans speculated Liz moved into her childhood home after supposedly splitting up with Brice.
One fan suggested: “I’ve seen Amber post quite a few stories of Elizabeth and the baby.
“I really do think she moved back into her mom’s house. Does anyone else think she moved back there?”
