When a great TV show ends, it’s natural to go through a grieving process. You find yourself doing all kinds of weird things, like signing petitions demanding six seasons and a movie or bombarding the network CEO with mean tweets scheduled to send every hour, on the hour. Even if the creator themselves decided to pull the plug, no one can stop you from carrying that grudge all through their future projects. It’s your right as a fan.
Sometimes, though, the hallmark of a great series is not wanting more. The finale comes exactly when it feels like it should, it wraps up every loose end, gently sets every character down in a satisfying place, and leaves you feeling wrapped in a warm blanket made of puppy hugs.
That’s why user AmIAm22 asked r/AskReddit, “Which show left you with a ‘Holy shit, that was a good show’ feeling at the end?”
