It’s been about five years since Riley Lai Nelet made her first on-screen appearance, and it’s been an interesting ride. She got her first big opportunity in 2018 when she was cast in the TV series Altered Carbon, and she has done a good job of keeping the momentum going. In 2022, she got another great opportunity when she earned a starring role in the Amazon Prime original series, Paper Girls. Her role in the show has allowed her to share her talent with a wider audience, and there are lots of viewers who have completely fallen in love with her acting skills. 1. She Is From California
Los Angeles is the place to be for pursuing a career in the entertainment industry. As a result, countless people move there every year in hopes of making it to Hollywood. Luckily for Riley, that’s one move she’s never had to make. She was born and raised in the Los Angeles area and continues to live there today.
2. She Really Is A Teenager
In the entertainment business, it’s very common for adults to be cast to play much younger characters. However, that isn’t the case with the TV series Paper Girls. Riley is only 14 years old (she’ll be 15 in November of 2022), and her co-stars are also teenagers.
3. She Is a Martial Artist
Don’t let Riley’s sweet face fool you, she is as tough as they come. Riley has been practicing kung fu for several years, and it’s something she’s gotten very good at. Maybe one day, she’ll get the chance to combine her love for martial arts with her love for acting.

During an interview with Big Gold Belt Media, Riley shared that she drinks a lot of chocolate milk – especially when she feels like she’s low on energy. She explained that she once heard that chocolate milk was just as effective as energy drinks.
6. She Likes Her Privacy
Now that Riley’s star is on the rise, there are lots of people who would love to know more about her. Unfortunately, though, there isn’t a lot of information about her on the internet. Although Riley does have an Instagram account, she hasn’t posted anything that relates to her personal life. She also doesn’t talk much about her personal life in interviews.

7. She Has a Handful of Acting Credits
At the moment, Riley doesn’t have a very long acting resume, but the credits she does have are very impressive. Riley’s IMDB page shows that she has just five acting credits, one of them being for a short film. As her career continues to grow, we know that we’ll be seeing her in a lot more things.
8. She Loves Fashion
Riley may be young, but she already has a strong sense of who she is. Riley has a good eye for fashion, and she enjoys being able to show her personality through her clothing.
