After Leah Ayres began her professional acting journey in the late 1970s, she disappeared from the business about 20 years later. She is best known for playing Valerie Bryson in the TV series The Edge of Night. She was also in the 1988 movie Bloodsport. Her most recent on-screen appearance was in 1998. Leah was born and raised in the Baltimore area. However, she ultimately decided that she wanted to relocate in order to pursue her dream of becoming a performer. As a result, she has lived in several places across the country, including New York City, Boston, and the Los Angeles area.
2. She Studied Dance
Acting is what made Leah Ayres famous, but she also has other skills in the performing arts department. She is a formally trained dancer who studied modern dance. When she got into acting, she was just looking for a way to make a living, but she ended up getting something much more than that.
3. She Loves Being Outdoors
Leah has a lot of appreciation for the beauty of nature, and she enjoys being outside as much as possible. Some of her favorite outdoor activities include exploring her surroundings and hanging out near the water. Being outside is the perfect way for her to relax and recharge.

Since leaving the entertainment industry, Leah has chosen to live a fairly private life. She hasn’t done any recent interviews that relate to her acting career, and she seems to be enjoying life outside of the spotlight. Keeping herself in good shape has always been important to Leah. Staying active doesn’t mean that Leah likes to spend hours in the gym, though. Yoga is one of her favorite forms of exercise, and she worked with YogaWorks, Inc. for several years. At one point in time, she also owned a company called Move with Me Yoga Adventures.

There is so much negativity in the world that it can feel almost impossible not to be consumed by it. However, Leah does her best to see the glass as “half full” as much as possible. There’s something special about visiting new places and learning about different cultures. Leah Ayres has been fortunate to see more of the world than many people will ever get a chance to. She has traveled extensively throughout the United States, and she’s also gotten the opportunity to visit other countries.
10. She Was in a Music Video
Most of Leah’s acting experience was in TV shows and movies, but she also got the chance to step into the music industry. She appeared as a waitress in the music video for Meat Loaf’s song “More Than You Deserve.” The video now has more than one million views on YouTube. This marked her only music video role.
