Yo La Tengo: This Stupid World [Matador]

This Stupid World is the 17th studio album album from Yo La Tengo, who mark their 40th anniversary as a band this year. The group wrote, recorded, and self-produced the record at their practice space in Hoboken, New Jersey. “One thing we have gotten increasingly good at is not setting goals for ourselves, but trying to appreciate what’s in front of us at any given moment and making that work,” Kaplan told Pitchfork.
