Who is Stephanie Allynne?
Allynne, who is 38 years old, is best known for being an actress, writer, and comedian.
Some of her more notable roles include In a World…, Twin Peaks, All Nighter, and The L Word: Generation Q.
After moving from southern California to Buffalo, New York, in her youth, Allynne returned to The Golden State at 18 years old to pursue a career in Hollywood.
She and Notaro met on the set of In a World… in 2012.

Although their relationship was initially platonic, they started dating later that year.
“I really like you, I liked kissing you, but I just want you to know I am not gay,” Allynne wrote to Notaro at the time, which she recalled in a 2022 interview with The New Yorker.

After three years of dating, Notaro and Allynne were engaged in January 2015.
By October of that year, they were married in a beach ceremony.
“I’m getting married today,” Notaro tweeted on the big day. “My only fear is that instead of ‘I do’ I’ll say ‘I do do.'”
On June 26, 2016, Notaro and Allynne shared another relationship milestone after welcoming their twin boys, Finn and Max, via surrogacy.

“My God, it just would not end. I couldn’t wait to be home with my family, see friends, do my ridiculous podcast and just work on new material around Los Angeles,” said in a March 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, referring to her podcast, Don’t Ask Tig.
Although Nataro has seen major success in Hollywood, she’s also faced several hardships over the years.
In 2012, the Jackson, Mississippi, native had a near-death experience with C-diff, a bacteria that causes inflammation of the colon.
In the same year, she was diagnosed with bilateral breast cancer, and her mother, Mathilde, died after a fall.
Since 2012, Notaro has been cancer-free after undergoing a double mastectomy.
