In 2004, several Navy pilots and crewmen on the USS Nimitz warship reported encountering what they called “Tic Tac” UFOs that they said broke the laws of physics.
15 years later they decided to come forward and speak about their experience, sparking a new era in UFO investigations which now involves the United State government claiming it will be more transparent.
Interestingly, the “Tic Tac” UFO encounter on the USS Nimitz of 2004 wasn’t the first time that ship had a run-in with something unexplainable.
USS Nimitz crewman Kevin Thomas recently spoke to Quest TV about a huge triangle UFO encounter he had in 1991, more than 10 years before the “Tic Tac” sighting.
“It’s night, it’s dark, so we went to darken ship and when a ship goes to darken ship everything gets turned off. There can be no light anywhere on the ship,” he recalled.
That’s when he saw something he will never forget as he went outside to watch the sunset after his shift.
“When I went to open up the bulkhead it was locked, so I figured no big deal, I’ll just ride it out out here,” Thomas said. “So I found my way to the starboard side of the ship and I looked around the corner and there was something about halfway out of the water. It looked like a huge black triangle.
“I would estimate it was bigger than the Nimitz at about 200 yards away… It was big and I kind of froze there. I have this image of it looking like this clean dark thing sitting there with no water dripping off it.”
Thomas said that the traingle UFO made absolutely no sound.
“I got a real clear view of it, it probably raised up about 30-40 feet, and then it was gone.”
Former USS Nimitz crewman Kevin Thomas says after his UFO encounter he was visited by two men who were not in uniform
The next day he said he was at his duty station when “two guys” came to see him.
“I had a feeling at that moment, my heart kind of stopped like ‘uh oh, I’m in trouble.’ I think that maybe I thought I saw something I wasn’t supposed to see and I’m going to get in a lot of trouble.”
The two men were not in uniform, just civilian clothes, Thomas said. They wanted to know why he was outside and not in his quarters after the ship went dark and “kept asking, over and over in different ways” what he saw, if anything.
He says he didn’t tell them what he witnessed because he was afraid he would get kicked out of the military if he did.
It wasn’t until the “Tic Tac” footage came out that he felt he could actually say something about the triangle UFO he witnessed while on the Nimitz
In 2020, it was reported by The Debrief that the Pentagon had in its possession a clear photo of a black triangle UFO rising out of the ocean.
The photo, which the Pentagon has not confirmed exists, was allegedly taken from inside the cockpit by a F/A-18 fighter pilot.
Two officials that received the report said the photo was taken after the triangular craft emerged from the ocean and began to ascend straight upwards at a 90-degree angle. It was indicated that this event occurred off the eastern coast of the United States. Several other sources confirmed the photo’s existence; however, they declined to provide any further specifics of the incident.
Officials who read the recent report say it primarily focused on “Unidentified Submersible Phenomena,” or unidentified “transmedium” vehicles capable of operating both underwater and in the air.
Three officials told The Debrief that the report “suggested the UAP Task Force appears to be concerned that the objects being termed as UAP may be originating from within the world’s oceans.”
