The Walking Dead universe continues to expand in several ways. Daryl and Carol are going on two separate journeys that could them together again in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – “The Book of Carol.” And Rick is thankfully at home and enjoying his life after years or torture. We are also getting more of Maggie and Negan’s series, The Walking Dead: Dead City, which will return for season two TKTKTK. Last season left us in an interesting place with the Dama forcing Negan to help unite a few NYC communities to fight the New Babylon Federation.
Meanwhile, Maggie is heading back towards home with Herschel but they are still not completely safe. The Walking Dead: Dead City hit San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) and revealed a teaser trailer that takes us back into the world of the dead with Negan’s whistle.
The series will arrive in 2025. Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie, reveals that she puts on her director’s hat in season two. “My job is to take the things that are most inspiring and translate them to the screen and to do that you have an entire group of intensely talented individuals, and it was one of the most humbling experiences of my entire life,” she tells the audience.
