It is almost a periodic ritual for Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade to clear the air on the status of their relationship, and it has happened again.
Their close friendship came under the public microscope right after Richards’s separation from Dave Umansky and her comment about being open to dating a woman.
All Is Well In Morgan Wade And Kyle Richard’s World
After rumors of tensions began circulating, the country singer set the record straight on her friendship with the reality star. Wade uploaded a picture of herself and Richards on her Instagram Story alongside the caption, “P.S. I am not fighting with @kylerichards18.”
It was reposted by Richards, who shared it on her story and attached a caption, “It was a slow new week apparently,” as a dig to the rumor mongers.
Richards attended the Country Music Hall of Fame event decked in a dark brown leather jacket paired with a black graphic T-shirt. Wade looked edgy in a camo-inspired coat paired with jeans, black boots, and matching black sunglasses.
The reality star has previously stated that the friendship between herself and Wade was purely platonic, although they have been spotted going on vacations and trips together.
Richards explained in an appearance on “Jeff Lewis Live” last month that the romantic undertone attached to their friendship was all from the media. She disclosed that she has a group of friends that she hangs out with regularly, but the media always singles out Morgan, hence spinning a narrative that they go out alone.
“My first text messages of the day are four different people but, you know, if I’m walking down the street, having lunch with them, they’re usually cut out of a photo. Usually, they cut my friends out unless it’s Morgan,” explained the 55-year-old.
The viral Glen Center picture of what appeared like a kiss between the two friends was a mere goodbye hug taken from a controversial angle. Richards added that her close friends double as her therapists and have been her support system through her marital and personal woes.
Richards And Wade Share A Unique Bond As Friends
Despite not being romantic partners, Wade and Richards do not hold back on complimenting each other’s strengths.
The country singer described her friend as an “extremely smart person when it comes to business and how to mentally ignore sh—.” She added that the reality star has been a great person in her corner who helps her “navigate stuff.”
For Richards, Wade is “one of her best friends in the world.” She proved this when she brought the country star as her date to Kathy Hilton’s Christmas party last year.
Their interesting friendship began on social media and has since blossomed into a strong bond involving trips around the world alongside Richard’s co-stars on “RHOBH.”
On one of these trips, The Blast noted that the pair showed up in Paris last September, and again sent the media into a frenzy, but Richards cleared things up that she was simply hired to produce Wade’s documentary. The 55-year-old continued in her statement online:
“There’s just so many things out there online. I’m like, why do people just make things up, invent things about the trip? They see that there’s a camera there, and they completely ignore that there’s a camera there.”
As proof of their friendship’s uniqueness, the mother-of-four FaceTimed the country singer in an episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” last December and had a light banter about her outfit.
“My relationship with Morgan is very different from my relationship with my other friends. She’s constantly teasing me, I know when Morgan and I hang out, I’m going to be roasted,” stated Richards in a confessional about on the scene.
