Jung Kook of BTS has kicked off the band’s annual FESTA celebration by releasing a new song called “Never Let Go.”
As Jung Kook’s first solo release since his 2023 solo album, GOLDEN, “Never Let Go” features lyrical contributions from the youngest member of BTS and is a celebration of his ongoing relationship with the band’s beloved global fanbase, ARMY. “With me from the start/ Always the best part of my day/ Being who you are, being who you are/ In the dark, you were the light that led me to you,” he sings over a glittering house beat.
“Never Let Go” is another all-English effort from the vocalist, who packed his solo chapter with a number of collaborations with international producers and songwriters.
As the 11th anniversary approaches for the day BTS first debuted as a band in 2013, more celebrations wait on the horizon — most notably, the return of Jin, who is set to be discharged from military service on June 12th. This year’s FESTA celebration will feature a livestream of old BTS concerts in addition to an in-person event where Jin will greet (and hug) the fans face to face.
