Chubby And The Gang have unveiled the latest taste of their forthcoming album ‘And Then There Was…’, with the contemplative ballad ‘Cocaine Sunday’.
With the band’s third full-length album set for release on October 04 via Flatspot Records, the 16-track LP was announced via nostalgic single ‘To Be Young’.
A slower, more profound approach than we’ve heard from the project before, take a listen to the piano-led ‘Cocaine Sunday’ via its emotive video below.
Speaking on the song, Chubby (real name Charlie Manning) has shared:
“Nothing makes me feel regret like waking up on a Sunday knowing the last few days have gone out the window for nothing.
“This song is about the lament I feel not only in the short term, but also the long term. Love I lost. Friends I’ve lost. Regret. But the only way to make myself feel better is to carry on. Live a life I was meant to. Just letting each Sunday pass me by.”
Chubby And The Gang are set to head out for a run of European and UK dates later this year.
