Chris D’Elia is being accused of threatening an ex-girlfriend meanwhile, the comedian is claiming he has never met this chick.
Chris D’Elia Accused Of Threatening Former Fling
The woman, named Caroline Schmitz filed documents in L.A. where she accuses the comedian of sending her threats to share intimate videos of herself that she alleges to have sent him when they were entangled.
D’Elia is going all the way to the other end of the spectrum and claiming to never have met this woman before, he doesn’t know her. In addition, she is actually sending him threatening audio and text messages and has been doing so all year long.
Schmitz claims that D’Elia knows exactly who she is and can pinpoint specifically when they met back in 2017 when she was on the comedy circuit.
The Lowdown on Chris D’Elia & Caroline Schmitz
Schmitz says in the court docs obtained by TMZ that she and D’Elia hooked up several times in 2017. After a break, she heard from him again in May through her OnlyFans account. The only problem is Schmitz doesn’t seem to have definitive proof that it is D’Elia threatening her.
She says in the docs that an account she “believes” to be the Whitney star’s personal OnlyFans account has allegedly been threatening to post personal videos of her and trying to scare her out of Los Angeles.
One clue for the OF model that indicated it was D’Elia was she, “recognized his style of writing.” Which led her to believe that the comedian has hacked her phone and accessed her personal files.
Chris D’Elia’s Lawyer Responded
The Army of the Dead actor has responded to the accusations through his lawyer Andrew Brettler. “These accusations are as fantastical as they are defamatory. Chris has never met this person,” claims attorney Brettler to TMZ.
“But over the last year, she has sent him an increasingly disturbing text and audio messages, including making threats against him and his family. If anyone is going to get a restraining order here, it’s going to be Chris.”
The publication also posted audio of some of the messages that Schmitz allegedly sent to the comedian. They refer to them as “ramblings” and quote the OF model as saying, “have me killed or leave me the f*** alone – I’d die to get the hell away from your evil ass.”
Chris D’Elia Is Confused
The actor’s lawyer’s claims of his being unaware of this woman could be genuine if these recordings really are her. A judge also believes that D’Elia could actually be the victim here because the actor was granted a temporary restraining order until their scheduled hearing in October.
