“As I step into a new chapter in my life, it’s with a heavy heart to share that Drea and I have decided to divorce,” he began.
“While this decision marks the end of our marriage, it’s important to emphasize that our relationship as co-parents remains our top priority,” he continued.
“Throughout our years together, Drea has been an incredible partner and an even more extraordinary mother to our two children.”
“I’m deeply grateful for the years we shared and for her unwavering commitment to our family,” he added.
After briefly mentioning that his children would be his “first priority,” Garcia also asked his 10 million followers to “respect” and “understand” his family’s privacy.
“In this time of transition, we kindly ask for respect and understanding for our family’s privacy.”
“We are thankful for the support of those who have stood by us over the years,” he finished.
Garcia captioned the post with a prayer hands emoji.
After receiving some backlash from his followers, Garcia deleted the post a few hours later.
His then-wife, Celina, didn’t share any divorce updates on her social media accounts or with the media.
She did, however, post a now-deleted Instagram story of Eminem and Rihanna’s hit 2010 song, Love The Way You Lie.
The song is reportedly about the rapper’s and singer’s abusive relationships with their ex-partners, Kim Mathers and Chris Brown, respectively.
Garcia confirmed that he’s not married on his Instagram story. He posted a photo with the text, “Obvi not married.
