TEEN Mom fans think they’ve figured out which cast member is pregnant after spotting a big clue on social media.
In a promo video for the Teen Mom: Next Chapter season finale this Thursday, May 22, the show promised one cast member will reveal her secret pregnancy.
“And someone is pregnant!” the narrator exclaims as two positive pregnancy tests sit on a white speckled bathroom or kitchen counter.
Initially, fans thought the pregnant star was Jade Cline, because on last week’s episode, she said she was two weeks late on her period and wanted to take a pregnancy test.
But it appears the show faked out fans with the promo, as a Teen Mom sleuth put together the pieces and revealed their findings on Reddit.
The sleuth determined the pregnant star is Cheyenne Floyd, 32.
The fan spotted the same speckled countertop used in the pregnancy test clip of the season finale promo in Los Angeles-based Cheyenne and her husband Zach Davis’ 2022 house tour on YouTube.
“Shout out to Zach for literally zooming in on the countertop in their house tour video,” the Reddit user quipped.
During this season of the MTV show, Cheyenne has openly discussed trying to get pregnant with her third child for over a year, and feeling frustrated.
“Zach and I have been trying to get pregnant for a year and a half now and just being told you’re not fertile, it just doesn’t work. It’s hard. It’s really hard,” she told Us Weekly earlier this year.
“I just want to know, Why didn’t anybody tell me? I’m crying in the bathroom by myself and then calling my best friend.
“What do I do? It’s hard. It’s so hard. But that’s why I wanted to talk about it on the show, and the influx of messages that I’ve got from people that are like, ‘Thank you.’”
Cheyenne is already the mom of Ryder, 8, with ex Cory Wharton, and Ace, 3, with Zach, whom she married in 2022.
An alumni of MTV’s The Challenge with famous friends including Kylie Jenner‘s bestie Yris Palmer, she joined the cast of Teen Mom in 2018, as a replacement to Farrah Abraham.
Though some fans adored Cheyenne’s addition to the cast, she also drew controversy because she gave birth at Ryder at 23, not in her teen years.
But she vehemently defended her place in the cast.
“I think that a lot of people are stuck on the word and at the end of the day I’m still young mom. I still have the same struggles and I’m still learning just like everyone else,” she told Us Weekly soon after joining the cast.
“I don’t think 23 is the ideal age to have a baby. She was unplanned, so in other ways, other than me not being a teen, I have different things that you can relate.
“So instead of me screaming all day long that I’m not a teen mom, I’d rather just talk about things that I am.”
