Sam Hunt and Hannah Lee Fowler have announced they are expecting their second child! Hunt made the reveal at his recent concert at the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas.
Hunt and Fowler welcomed Lucy about a year ago after they decided to call off their divorce. At the time, he spoke about being “filled with a lot of gratitude” and said Lucy has melted his “hardened heart.”
Fowler filed for divorce from Hunt in February 2022, accusing him of adultery and inhuman treatment. The couple started dating in 2008 after meeting while he was a quarterback for the University of Alabama.

Sam Hunt And Hannah Lee Fowler Are Expecting Another Child
Sam Hunt announced on Friday night that he and Hannah Fowler are expecting baby No.2. According to a report by Entertainment Tonight, Hunt made the reveal while performing at the Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas.
An attendee at the concert confirmed that Hunt also said Fowler and their first child, Lucy, would attend his show on Saturday. The singer and the registered nurse welcomed Lucy in May 2022, about a month after they terminated their divorce proceedings.
He Shared News Of Their First Child The Same Way
Hunt announced to his fans that Fowler was pregnant with Lucy in a very similar fashion to his announcement of their second baby. The country singer made the reveal during a performance at the Stars for Second Harvest show in Nashville.
He told the audience, “I recently had a baby girl named Lucy Lu. Being out here — in the music business and on the road — has hardened my heart. My heart’s been a lot harder since I left that small town.”
Hunt then said that having Lucy in his life has melted away his hard heart over a “couple of weeks.” He added, “I’ve been filled with a lot of gratitude these past couple of weeks, and I just want to say up here on The Ryman stage how grateful I am to have been a part of country music for the last ten years.”
The Couple Reconciled Just Before Lucy’s Birth
Shortly before Hunt announced Fowler was pregnant with Lucy, the couple was in the process of getting a divorce. Fowler first filed in February 2022 and, in her documents, accused the singer of “adultery as well as cruel and inhuman treatment.” The documents obtained by TMZ at the time suggested that Hunt and Fowler already had a prenuptial agreement in place.
By May, however, the singer and nurse had decided to try their hands at being together again. A source spoke to ET and said they were “working on healing their relationship.” They also said, “They’re very excited to welcome their baby girl together and focused on that. Sam has been working and ensuring that Hannah feels comfortable, safe, and trusts him.”
The source also said that Hunt carefully made their five-year marriage work. They added, “He has been careful to ensure that things aren’t being misconstrued or that he is jeopardizing their relationship. He knows how sensitive the situation is and doesn’t want to hurt Hannah.”

Hunt and Fowler started their on-again, off-again relationship in 2008 after meeting at University. At the time, the “Body Like a Back Road” singer was still a quarterback at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
The couple broke up for a while when Hunt started pursuing his music stardom and moved to Nashville. He eventually named his 2014 debut studio album “Montevallo,” centering it mostly on his love for Fowler and their relationship.
Hunt and Fowler eventually married in a small ceremony in his Cedartown hometown in April 2017. The country music star and nurse decided to invite only their friends and family and kept the wedding private for a while.
