Paris Hilton is officially a parent. The celebrity and her husband Carter Reum revealed on Tuesday that they welcomed their newborn son via a surrogate mother.
“It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,” Hilton, 41, told People. “We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy.”
Paris shared a photo of her baby’s hand on Instagram, writing, “You are already loved beyond words.”
Sending congratulations in the comments were Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, Demi Lovato, Heidi Klum, Elle Fanning, and many more.
Hilton and Reum—a 41-year-old entrepreneur who started the venture capital firm M13—got married in November 2021. Their wedding and the lead-up were documented on Peacock’s Paris in Love series.
Earlier that year, Hilton denied pregnancy rumors on her podcast, saying, “I am not pregnant, not yet. I am waiting till after the wedding. … I can’t wait to have children in 2022.”
The heiress’ and reality TV pioneer has her new book Paris: The Memoir coming March 14.
