Nick Cannon‘s family is growing again. He announced he’s expecting his ninth baby, third with model Brittany Bell, on Instagram on Wednesday. He shared his big news with a video montage of him and Bell at a maternity shoot.
The Comments Were Mixed Between Jokes And Support
The “Wild N’ Out” host, 41, captioned the video, “Time Stopped and This Happened… @missbbell ❤️😍🥰🌞 #Sunshine #SonRISE.” Cue the funny comments: “Another one *Khaled voice,*” “I know that BIBLE said be fruitful and Multiply but DAMN!!!,” “You may actually be “Father Time”… congratulations 🍾,” “Imagine growing up and having to say ‘yeah I’m another one of Nick’s kids,’” “Dude… like there’s only 24hrs in a day… like HOW?!,” and 1,600 others.
Many comments were supportive too, “Beautiful moments captured,” “This is beautiful congrats on the new bundle of joy,” “This is so beautiful,” “Beautiful family with Brittany!! Seems like real love and chemistry,” among other loving messages.
Cannon’s List Of Children And Their Ages Looks Like A Math Equation
Cannon and Bell also share son Golden Sagon, 5, and daughter Powerful Queen, 19 months. Cannon is also father to twins Monroe and Moroccan, 11, with ex Mariah Carey, twins Zion and Zillion, 14 months, with Abby De La Rosa, Zen, who passed away at 5 months, with Alyssa Scott, and Legendary Love, 6 months, with model and “Selling Sunset” star Bre Tiesi. In case you’ve lost count, this baby will be number nine for the comedian. And let’s not forget that baby mama, Abby De La Rosa, is currently expecting her third baby, due in October.
Anyone who’s been paying attention knows that Cannon has been open about the fact that he was expecting more babies this year. When asked if there were more babies on the way on the “Lip Service” podcast earlier this year, he responded, “When you say ‘on the way…’ What count are you at? Let’s just put it this way…the stork is on the way.” Back in May, Cannon told People that he feels joy being a father. “Every day I just wake up excited as a father. I’m so excited about all my kids. Constantly, from every aspect of it,” he explained. “From them getting citizen of the month awards in the first grade to the birth of the new ones.”
Cannon Is A “Multitasker”
If you’re wondering if the baby mamas all get along, Cannon told People, “They don’t have to, they all get along with me.” He continued explaining, “I don’t keep no secrets. They know how I move. I multitask.” The actor also said he didn’t set out for things to happen the way they did. “I just want to be the best father I can possibly be, and lean into it. I embrace all my children, I love children, but I wasn’t setting out to be Father Abraham, I just embrace it,” he said. “A lot of people have a lot of children as well and they kinda keep it quiet or they don’t talk about it, I lean into mine.”
