Kelly said there were other women on the carpet who were not treated in the way that she was.

“There were other women who attended that carpet, who did not quite look like me, and they didn’t get scolded or pushed off or told to get off,” she explained.

Kelly did not reveal the exact words, but several people had shared their theories online.

In the video, Kelly was seen wagging her finger while on the iconic steps of the Palais des Festivals on Tuesday night.

The security guard, who wore an all-black suit, appeared to step on the back of Kelly’s long dress which panned out into a train.

In the video, Kelly appeared to be trying to wave to onlookers and smiling while cameras took pictures.

MOVE ALONG

The security held out her arms and appeared to be trying to usher her along into the venue promptly.

The security guard apologized to Kelly, who responded “It’s okay,” according to Jacqui Press via the Daily Mail.

Kelly then appeared to clap back after the security guard, who’s back was to the cameras, said something else to her.

“Don’t talk to me like that,” appeared to shout as the guard continued to hold up her hands behind her.

Kelly seemed to repeat the phrase several times as she got more passionate.

Another staff member walked down the stairs to intervene, but the woman carried on.

On the top step, Kelly turned around and firmly told her “You still don’t talk to me like that,” and wagged her finger.

FAN THEORIES

Fans theorized what could have been said on X, formerly Twitter.

“It was very clear Kelly Rowland was trying to take photos and they were rushing her then that security guard stepped on her dress and Kelly tried to correct her nicely and the security guard decided to be rude and Kelly said ‘Don’t talk to me like that,'” said a follower.

“Don’t touch me, don’t talk to me like that, don’t talk to me like that b**ch, don’t talk to me like that,” theorized another fan.

“Don’t talk to me like that. Don’t talk to me like that. You’re not my momma. I told you not to talk to me like that,” suggested a third.

Another source close to Kelly said she was standing her ground against an angry security guard.

“The people who are assigned to helping stars walk the red carpet were being aggressive and Kelly was trying to ignore it,” they told the Daily Mail.

“She doesn’t care if she comes across like a diva if she knows that she is advocating for herself. She isn’t fake and wanted to set a clear boundary.”
