General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Briana Lane (ex-Brook Lynn Quartermaine) recently shared some devastating news on Instagram. Lane posted a photo of happier times and revealed that her husband, John Lange, had passed away in the caption.
“I will love you forever my sweet John,” Lane said. “Til we meet again.”
Fans will recall that Briana Lane filled in for Amanda Setton (Brook Lynn Quartermaine) during her maternity leave back in 2020.
Lane slid back in Brook Lynn’s shoes for another appearance in October 2022, so she’s become the show’s go-to actress when they need a temporary BLQ replacement. Most viewers can agree that Lane always does an incredible job.
Of course, once you become part of the GH family, you’re a permanent member.
That’s why plenty of Briana Lane’s old costars have been reaching out to offer their condolences and let her know they care.
Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Tait), Kristen Storms (Maxie Jones), Jen Lilley (ex-Maxie Jones) all sent their love to Lane in the comments. It’s good to see Lane’s former coworkers and friends showing their support.
The same goes for the fans who enjoyed Lane’s spin on Brook Lynn and have kept up with her on social media. Instagram is normally a place to show off fun updates, but this was certainly heartbreaking news instead.
Sadly, Lange died at home in Studio City on March 14, but he leaves behind a bright and passionate legacy.
Based on the outpouring of love and warm memories, Lange will definitely be missed – especially by his beloved wife.
There’s a Go Fund Me set up to help out with Lange’s memorial service and make sure Lane has what she needs to find a way forward during this difficult time.
Our hearts go out to Lane and all her loved ones as they continue to grieve this crushing loss.
It’s always hard to hear about tough blows like this, but we’re rooting for Lane as she mourns and hope to see her back in Port Charles one day.
