Brenda Song turned 36 in her swimsuit! In recent social media posts the Suite Life alum shows off her incredible body in a variety of bathing suits while celebrating her birthday at the Nobu Los Cabos Residences. “Cabo adventures. Who is she?!” she captioned one of the posts. “Had the most incredible celebrating my birthday in paradise. Thank you @nobuloscabos for the most incredible, relaxing stay. I’m still full! #nobuloscabos #noburesidences,” she added in another. How does the mother-of-two approach health and wellness? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Since becoming a mom Brenda wakes up early and waits until her kids are napping before she hits the gym. “I try to do everything in his nap-time window. If I have time, I’ll work out — I have a little gym in my garage and do a lot of circuit training. To be the best mom, I have to be the best me. And exercise helps me not worry or overthink. So I try to find a little time,” she told The Cut.
“Sometimes I’ll read and knit,” she added. She recently read The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. “I love thrillers. Patricia Highsmith is one of my favorite authors of all time. I’m a completionist. Even if I dislike the book, I have to finish it,” she said.
On “hectic days” she reaches for a few go-to treats. “I love sweets, especially pastries and chocolate. A half-croissant sparks joy. At work, I always have dark chocolate in my purse as a little pick-me-up,” she said.
“When I got pregnant, I made the big transition from coffee to matcha. That was a big deal because I was a one-cup-of-coffee-a-day person. I’ve always loved green tea, so one of my friends was like, ‘Why don’t you try matcha?'” She started making her own matcha lattes during the pandemic. “I bought a little kit and then became obsessed. It’s all I’ve been drinking ever since. It gives me the burst of energy I need, but I never get the crash that I used to get from coffee. So now I start off every morning with a matcha latte mixed with hot water and a little bit of almond milk. It’s super-easy and quick, and I don’t go a day without it,” she told New York Magazine.
Brena also loves Bikram yoga, which she sometimes does with her mom. “My mom and I make a whole day out of it. We have class, and then we eat, and then we do ice cream, always,” she told Seventeen.
