POPULAR stylist Bescene has announced he’s stepping away from the hair industry after his messy divorce with his ex-wife and business partner made rounds on social media.
The renowned hairstyle, born Linh Phan, has come under fire recently after his estranged ex-wife, Marguerite Hancock, made a series of accusations against him on her Instagram account.
Phan and Hancock are powerful hairstylists in the beauty industry.
The couple, who have been involved in the hair industry for over a decade, owned and operated the Los Angeles-based salon Phan Haus together.
Phan and Hancock’s popularity exploded on social media, mainly TikTok, where their massive following saw a bevy of influencers flock to Phan Haus salon for makeovers.
“Influencers set the stage more than celebrities,” Phan told Glossy in 2022 about Phan Haus Salon’s success on TikTok.

“At this point, they are the new celebs.”
Hancock echoed Phan’s statement, saying the social media platform “definitely opened us up to a whole new audience.”
GRIM REALITY
However, the gleeful and successful relationship portrayed on social media platforms was upended after the news of their divorce went viral online.
Hancock has taken to Instagram to accuse Phan of abuse, adultery while she was pregnant with their daughter, and stealing thousands from her during the heydays at Phan Haus salon.
The U.S. Sun has not been able to independently confirm the accusations surrounding the estranged couple.
Phan and Hancock did not immediately respond to a request for comment by The U.S. Sun.
As the ins and outs of their relationship began to unfold for millions on social media, Phan responded to the claims and announced he was “indefinitely” stepping away from the hair industry.
“I deeply regret the negative impact that the exposure of my private life has had on the community, and I am profoundly sorry to those who my decision may have affected,” Phan wrote in a lengthy statement.
“I recognize that I haven’t always shown up as my best self, and the impact of this weighs heavily on my heart.
“As I reflect on my 16-year career I’ve had the privilege of inspiring thousands of hairdressers worldwide.
“I’ve traveled, mentored stylists, and helped them succeed. But now, it’s time for me to step back and focus on healing myself.”
Phan said the decision was largely made to prioritize his health, making no mention of Hancock’s accusations.
“I want to show up as the person I aspire to be, both internally and externally, with integrity at the core of this commitment,” the Scottsdale, Arizona, hairdresser added.
“Therefore, I am announcing my indefinite hiatus from the hair industry.
“While I can’t predict the future, I want to thank each and every one of you who has supported me through the highs and lows. Your compassion and kindness will forever stay with me.”
Meanwhile, Hancock released a statement in which she urged women to speak up if they’re going through similar experiences.
“If you are reading this and you are in an abusive relationship of any kind…I want to offer you strength,” Hancock wrote in an Instagram post.
“I want to tell you that you CAN speak up, and most importantly that you can leave… You are powerful by yourself, and you can do it.
“I love this industry. I eat sleep and breathe hair. I’m not going anywhere. This is my art, my passion and my LIFE. No one can take that from me.
I also want to say thank you to the men in this industry that show up with respect, support and dignity.
“The women in the industry trust you and need you. Men and women CAN work harmoniously.
“If you see something…. Say something. And please, believe women.”
