BARBIE Ferreira may not be coming back for Euphoria’s third season, but the rising star has been keeping busy.
Barbie’s fans and followers were shocked after the star showcased her new look on Instagram, where she posed for a few snaps in a revealing brown dress.

Months after the premiere of her latest film, Bob Trevino Likes It, Barbie Ferreira showed off her noticeably slimmer appearance on social media.
“So quirky vibes,” Barbie captioned the post, posing for the camera with her hands on her waist.
The star closed her eyes and blew a kiss at the camera while wearing a tight brown midi-dress paired with a lacy black bra.
She accessorized her look with strappy black shoes, a gold and ruby necklace, and a french manicure.

Some of Barbie’s 5.1 million followers were quick to comment on the star’s bold new look.
“You look phenomenal! brown is ur color!! (every color is),” commented one user.
“You look Gorgeous,” Dylan Mulvaney commented.
“Mother,” wrote another user.
“HEYYYYYY (louder than any and everyone else),” wrote another user.
Not all of Barbie’s followers, however, were supportive of her new look.
“Ozempic has claimed another angel,” wrote one user.
Barbie stayed silent about her weight loss in the comments, though many of her fans stepped in to defend the actress.
“Reminder that u can lose weight “drastically” quickly for a million reasons as a woman,” wrote one user.
“Jeez STOP mentioning her weight and just say she looks good and move along. You don’t need someone to be a certain weight with you. Focus on yourself,” another user commented.
British YouTuber and streamer Sunpi also called out several users for their negative comments, telling them to “seek therapy.”

“I feel like people are quite jealous in the comments,” Sunpi commented.
“Maybe they feel a certain way because she’s lost weight and that’s making you feel bad?
“If that’s the case it’s better to look in word if you’re commenting horrible things about other peoples weight there’s something going on in your mind in terms of insecurity and it’s possible you need to seek therapy,” she added.
Like a true Hollywood veteran, Barbie seemed unfazed by the comments on her appearance.
She later posted a selfie of herself smiling alongside her best friends Ben Evans, @benisright, and Omar Sultan Ahmed, @omarrahmed, to her Instagram Stories.
Barbie hasn’t publicly addressed her weight loss, or how she achieved her slimmer look.

The star has sporadically posted on social media over the last few months, making it somewhat difficult to pinpoint when she started slimming down.
The fan-favorite Euphoria star displayed a curvier look on the cover of In Style Australia in March 2024.
She also wore a body-hugging brown-and-white checkered dress to the SXSW premiere of Bob Trevino Likes It on March 12.
Eagle-eyed fans and followers began commenting on her slimmer look in April, when Barbie shared some behind-the-scenes snaps of herself hanging out with friends at Coachella.
She was also the epitome of old Hollywood glamour in mid-June, wearing a floor-length, silver silk gown, a matching sparkly shrug, and a dazzling Swarovski crystal choker in Milan.

While HBO recently announced that its hit show, Euphoria, would begin filming its third season in January 2025, Barbie won’t be returning to the show.

She revealed her departure from the show in August 2022, a few months after the show’s second season aired.
Barbie never gave a reason for her exit, though she denied rumors that she had a falling out with the show’s creator, Sam Levinson.
She has, however, kept busy in recent months, and has two horror films in post-production.
Fans should be on the lookout for Barbie’s upcoming films, including House of Spoils, a supernatural thriller starring Ariana DeBose and Arian Moayed.
She’s also set to star in Faces of Death, a remake of the 1978 pseudo-documentary horror, appearing alongside Dacre Montgomery, Charlie XCX, Jermaine Fowler, and Josie Totah.
