After fans assumed Young Thug and Gunna were on good terms, Thug blasted the YSL signee in a since-deleted tweet.
Atlanta rapper Young Thug is once again a free man after avoiding life in prison thanks to a nice plea deal in the YSL Rico trial. When the plea deal was determined Thug requested the ability to make music with Gunna. Fans immediately declared the allegations of Gunna being a snitch false after Thug’s request. Unfortunately, the request might have been a business decision and not a genuine move.
This weekend, a tweet posted by Young Thug contradicted the new public narrative that the label mates were on the same page.
“Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know u my guy.” Young Thug wrote in the now-deleted tweet on X.
Thugger only let the tweet stay up a few moments before deleting the message; however, it will live on the internet forever. Gunna’s brother saw the tweet.
According to TheShadeRoom, Gunna never acknowledged the shady post, but his brother DP claimed that “the feeling is mutual” on Instagram. Social media detectives speculated Thug asked the judge for permission to make music with Gunna as a tactic to keep him signed to YSL.
However, this could all just be a suit to promote an upcoming project, which isn’t needed.
