RAPPER Takeoff has been shot dead at the age of 28 in Houston, according to reports.

A shooting took place at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas on Tuesday, according to TMZ, where a man was pronounced dead at the scene following a shot to the neck.

Takeoff, also known as Kirshnik Khari Ball, began his career in 2008 and rose to fame after the release of songs such as Bad and Boujee.

Part of the rap group Migos, Takeoff was beloved by millions across the globe.

Just days ago he released the music video to his and Quavo’s new song, Messy.

    The artist’s Migos bandmate Quavo rushed to help following the incident that took place at a bowling alley in Houston, Texas on Tuesday.

    Quavo, who wasn’t injured in the shooting, can be heard screaming for help, according to footage seen by TMZ.
