NORTH West has been receiving mentoring from her father, Kanye West, due to her evident proclivity for music.
North had the public anticipating her next move on the music scene ever since she dropped her Miss Westie verse on Kanye’s Vultures album.
North, 10, is the eldest daughter of Kanye and his reality star ex-wife, Kim Kardashian‘s, 43, four children, which include Saint, Psalm, and Chicago.
A full project from the preteen is on the way for thirsting fans, and it will feature input from the award-winning rapper/producer 46.
North and her hip hop star dad are collaborating for the youngster’s debut album, Elementary School Dropout.
Kanye’s close friend Justin LaBoy told TMZ that Ms Westie isn’t just slapping her name on whatever her pops creates, but actually helping construct her own sound.
Justin revealed to TMZ that the budding rap star was “doing beat selection” and even chose which sound engineer she wanted to use for her music.
North definitely seems to be taking full advantage of the creative control she possesses.
So much so that she’s already allowed her BFFs to record tracks with her for Elementary School Dropout.
Justin explained to TMZ that some of the songs on the forthcoming project will feature a group of kids.
North’s viral Miss Westie verse was included in Kanye’s single Talking/Once Again–a track on Vultures.
VULTURES
Kanye released his album Vultures on February 10 and a chaotic listening party in Las Vegas, Nevada, right after the 2024 Super Bowl on February 11.
The performance was at an unnamed tent venue on the Las Vegas Strip.
It resembled an underground rave and was organized just 24 hours before it started.
North and rapper Ty Dollar $ign joined Kanye on stage as they danced along to their new album, Vultures, in front of thousands of fans.
Exclusive video footage obtained by The U.S. Sun also showed fights breaking out between fans as drinks were hurled, punches were thrown and partygoers were escorted out by security.
FAN COMPLAINTS
An insider told The U.S. Sun staff were asked to work the event just 24 hours before and the show was “pretty unorganized.”
The main floor of the venue was sectioned off – meaning fans were penned in around the sides and could barely see the stage, as Kanye “specifically asked for space.”
Staff were seen telling guests they could not use professional cameras at the show, while Kanye had a huge team of videographers roaming about getting content.
He moved around the stage in all black and a mask to all of his tracks from Vultures, including Paid, Everybody, Back To Me, and North West’s song Talking.
Despite the ticket situation, there were many diehard supporters seen chanting “Yeezy” and dancing as security was seen escorting VIP guests to different sections.
But after the show finished, two big fights broke out and fans were seen being pulled out of the venue.
Crowds of people were also seen arguing with security as they struggled to exit the venue without walking a long distance to the other side of the Strip.
