Metro Boomin has been busy purging tweets from his Twitter account as internet sleuths have dug up some disturbing statements he’s allegedly made in the past.
Among the alleged tweets are ones that say “She might be young but she ready” and “I’ll beat the charge” (in reference to a 13-year-old girl).
Metro Boomin (real name Leland Tyler Wayne, 30 years old) is having his old tweets dug up as the beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar — and the rap world at large — continues to unfold.
Drake, for example, released an entire song that denied Kendrick Lamar’s claims that he’s an alleged pedophile.
“Only f—– with Whitneys, not Millie Bobby Browns, I’d never look twice at no teenager,” Drake says on the song.
The rap world, however, feels like Drake told on himself in the song, titled “The Heart Part 6”, because he specifically mentioned Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown despite Kendrick ever saying anything about her.
“They done found tweets of Metro Boomin talking bout underaged girls this is EXACTLY why he should’ve shut his a– up and made some drums while staying out this shit if these tweets are real,” summarized one viral tweet.
Metro Boomin, from St. Louis, Missouri, is considered one of the most influential producers in hip hop over the last decade, having produced songs such as “Jumpman” by Drake and Future, “Bad and Boujee” by Migos, “Congratulations” by Post Malone, “Mask Off” Future, and more.
