EMINEM’S ex-wife Kim Mathers has made a profit selling her home, after initially taking out a large loan from the star’s company to pay for the property.
Reclusive Kim, 49, bought her four-bed, three-bath home in Michigan for $530,000 in 2022.
She initially paid for the house after borrowing $615,000 from Eminem’s Shady Games, Inc., mortgage documents showed.
It is believed she was loaned the money as she was awaiting the sale of her mansion.
The U.S. Sun can now reveal Kim made a $20,000 profit selling her 2,847 sq ft house for $560,000 last month.
She has downsized after purchasing a five-bed, three-bath home just minutes away for $410,000.
The property is only level but sits on a huge 7,841 sq ft lot and was bought in 2023.
It boasts a huge newly-built outdoor entertainment area that includes an inground heated pool, a hot tub, and basketball and volleyball set ups.
Although Kim has neighbors, the home offers “extreme privacy” with vinyl fencing surrounding the property.
It also has a built-in firepit, sauna, and putting green in the yard.
Kim spoke exclusively to The U.S. Sun in 2023 and explained she didn’t want to walk up and down the stairs at her former house as she is less mobile after crashing her car back in 2015.
MANSION SALE
She also wanted to downsize as most of her children have now flown the nest, and her teenage son, Parker, is the only one left at home.
Kim is also mother to Hailie Jade, 28, with Eminem, along with adopted daughter Alaina, 30; and Stevie Laine, 22, who identifies as non-binary, from a previous relationship.
She also mentioned she had chosen the house because of its large outdoor barbecue area with a new Hibachi grill and was looking forward to having her children visit.
Kim and her kids previously lived in a custom-built mansion which was reportedly paid for by Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.
The house had six bedrooms and seven bathrooms and is where Hailie and her siblings grew up.
Kim offloaded the luxury home in March 2023 for $1.35 million, but it is now back on the market for $1,750,000, according to multiple online listings.
The mom-of-four is believed to have reunited with her ex at her daughter Hailie’s wedding last month.
Despite their well-documented dramas over the years, she revealed they now have a good relationship, although they don’t see each other regularly.
The podcast host and influencer married her longtime love, Evan McClintock, during an intimate ceremony in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Kim Mather’s turbulent past
Eminem’s ex hasn’t had an easy ride over the years but is now thriving having spent time in rehab and rebuilding her relationship with the star. Here’s a look back at her rollercoaster life.
Teen runaway
At just 13, Kim reportedly ran away from an abusive home and was taken in by Marshall’s mum, Debbie Nelson, who described her as a “tall, sulky blonde girl” in her memoir.
“[She said she] had no idea who their real father was, and claimed to have been sexually abused by her stepfather,” Debbie wrote.
Pregnant at 21
Kim and Marshall fell in love and she gave birth to Hailie Jade on Christmas Day 1995.
They moved back to the trailer but Eminem claimed it was impossible to live there because of Debbie’s drug habit and they were in and out of her home.
“My mother did a lot of dope and s***, a lot of pills — so she had mood swings,” he told Rolling Stone.
First marriage
The pair had a volatile relationship and often split up but ended up tying the knot on June 14, 1999.
They split after just a year, finalizing their divorce in 2001, and Kim sued over abusive lyrics about her in his songs which she claimed caused her to attempt suicide.
The pair settled for an undisclosed sum and agreed on a custody arrangement for Hailie.
Second marriage
Kim had another child, Stevie Laine, but the couple couldn’t stay apart.
Marshall ended up adopting Stevie and Kim’s niece Alaina as her mom Dawn was struggling with addiction.
The pair got married again in 2006, but Kim was reluctant to go through with it and after 45 days Marshall left.
Kim went on to have a son, Parker, although little is known about his father.
2015 car crash
The mom-of-four struggled with depression and addiction and in October 2015 drove her Cadillac Escalade into a telephone pole.
She later apologized and admitted she had tried to take her own life.
“I sat at the end of a road where I knew that no one else but myself would get hurt,” she told US radio station 95.5 WKQI.
Sister’s death
Just months after the crash, in January 2016, Kim’s twin sister Dawn Scott was found dead from a heroin overdose in a trailer park.
She had been homeless for two years and Kim had been caring for her daughter Alaina full-time.
Kim said Marshall had been “very supportive,” explaining, “We are very close friends; we are just trying to raise our kids together and make it as normal for them as possible.”
2017 apology
The rapper apologized for the way he treated Kim in his 2017 song, Bad Husband, and the pair’s relationship grew stronger.
He rapped: “We might have loved each other too much/ And maybe that’s what made us do what we did to each other/ All the screw-ups.”
Mom’s death & suicide attempt
Kim was left devastated when her mom Kathy Sluck, 65, died on July 23, 2021, after her health deteriorated.
Just days after her mom’s funeral Kim again tried to take her own life, but was saved by one of her children who phoned 911 after finding her surrounded by pills in the bathroom.
Rehab and weddings
She underwent treatment and has since been doing much better, while Marshall has continued to support her.
In the past two years, she has celebrated the weddings of both Hailie and Alaina and told The U.S. Sun she is very close to her children.
Although reclusive Kim was missing from the photographs shared online, she told The U.S. Sun she was attending the wedding and wouldn’t have missed it.
TMZ shared images of Hailie with her now-husband and the 8 Mile star at Greencrest Manor after saying “I do”.
Meanwhile, Kim is said to be in a great place after her previous mental health battle in 2021 when she tried to take her own life after struggling with the death of her mother, Kathy Sluck.
She told The U.S. Sun last year she went to rehab in Detroit, Michigan, and is now clean.
When asked how she is doing now, she said, “It’s been hard, I lost my mom, my dad, and my sister [over the past 10 years].
“[But] I’m good. I’ve been clean since about October, I went to Jefferson House … for 45 days.”
