Creeper have shared a black-and-white video for their majestic track ‘Lovers Led Astray’.
The swaggering tune comes from the band’s ‘Sanguivore’ LP from last year, which takes listeners on a theatrical, vampiric journey.
Arriving right in the middle of the album, ‘Lovers Led Astray’ embodies much of the record’s gothic grandeur – and has now been given a moody video to match.
Speaking about the new video and what they hoped to capture, Creeper frontman William Von Ghould has explained:
“We made the video for Lovers Led Astray with one of our favourite visual artists, Harry Steel. The video explores the themes of the song while experimenting with light and shadow.
“It is an unholy communion of light and dark which threads together the themes of the existing Sanguivore universe while presenting something new and provocative at the same time.”
Have a watch to see what that entails below.
The new video arrives as Creeper prepare to hit the road for their ‘12 Days of Night’ tour, which will see them play 13 dates across the UK.
They’ll then head out on an extended North American tour as special guests to Black Veil Brides, interspersed with headline shows in Reno (April 26) and Des Moines (May o1).

Speaking about the ‘Sanguivore’ project around its release, Von Ghould told Rock Sound for our ‘The Album Story’ feature:
“We had this idea about doing a vampire record for a long time. It was always planned for the third one to be this way.
“After the second one swung into such a different direction, it made sense for the pendulum to swing back and go much darker in terms of aesthetic. But with the music, I wanted an overhaul.”
