We all love a can of Bush’s Baked Beans. But we wouldn’t necessarily want to drive around in one.

In an unusual turn of events, TikTok user Ellie Scharbach (@elliescharbach) opened the Lyft app to get a ride. But instead of seeing cars, she was faced with fast-moving cans of Bush’s Baked Beans.

As she and her friend cracked up laughing about this, Scharbach showed the camera the app and exclaimed, “I’m too high to look at this.”

However, comments didn’t share her enthusiasm. Instead, several of them were concerned that Scharbach had shown her address in the video.

“Just send her gifts since she leaked her addy,” one wrote.

“How many pizzas have been ordered to your place since this video was posted?” another asked.

A third joked, “Girl I’m on my way with you showin your address.”

A fourth said, “Bestie cover your address please,” while a fifth added, “Girly this is hilarious but people are gonna doxx you.”

Scharbach assured viewers in a comment that the address in question isn’t for her place of residency but rather for an area where there’s bars. First, she thanked viewers for “watching out for” them and then said, “the lyft was between two bar streets so unfortunately no lunch at ours. but have fun getting a drink ;).”

Scharbach didn’t immediately respond to BroBible’s request for comment.

OK, So What’s The Deal With The Bush’s Baked Beans Lyft Drivers?

Returning to the bean side of things, Scharbach was far from the only one to experience it. Several Redditors also noticed this bizarre transformation.

“Sometimes a company hires a social media intern and it’s actually funny, other times they pay thousands of dollars for an ad campaign and the legitimate idea is ‘What about beans?” one wrote. “Be so for real right now.”

“I for one think it’s pretty funny if nothing else,” another added. While a third enthused, “I was absolutely thrilled when I opened my app today. The collab I didn’t know I needed.”

Elsewhere, a fourth joked, “I’d be pissed if my driver didn’t show up driving a bean can.”

As many Redditors speculated, the move is actually part of a promotional campaign by Lyft and Bush’s Baked Beans. A post on the food brand’s app confirmed it, as it shared a screenshot of the bean-ified vehicles on Instagram along with the caption, “Open up your Lyft app for a surprise.”

The post was uploaded on July 3, which, incidentally, is National Eat Your Beans Day. So, we can assume the promotion is tied to that.
