Whitman is expecting her first child, having announced her pregnancy in a Mother’s Day 2024 Instagram post in which she cradled her baby bump alongside her former Parenthood co-stars Lauren Graham and Miles Heizer.
“Not to make a parenthood episode out of it or anything but!!!” she wrote on May 12.
“Mother’s Day looking a little different this year! 🤰🏼,” she continued.
“Can’t wait to meet you, huge baby kicking my insides to filth! #ruveal.”
Per People, Whitman’s Parenthood character, Amber Holt, was pregnant during the sixth and final season of the NBC series.
Graham played her onscreen mother, Sarah Braverman, while Heizer played her onscreen brother, Drew Holt.
