Suits LA will bring legal drama back to our TV screens with a whole new cast of characters. The show stars Stephen Amell as Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York who is now representing powerful clients in LA. His firm is in crisis and he’s having to make some moves he doesn’t want to while contending with some decisions from his past. Black’s story connects to the original series, thanks to his long-term connection to Harvey Specter.

To the delight of many, Gabriel Macht will reprise his role as Harvey in a few Suits LA episodes. But it’s been a while since we last saw him. Here’s what happened to Harvey Specter at the end of Suits

Gabriel Macht Will Reprise His Role as Harvey Specter on SUITS LA

After a long battle with Faye, the firm’s very annoying acting managing partner, Harvey decides to quit. (Honestly, it is easier to just say “the firm” instead of trying to keep up with all those darn name changes.) His new relationship with Donna, his mother’s sudden death, and his personal and professional growth push Harvey to want to be better. He no longer sees being a lawyer for big wigs as a fun game and wants to use his brilliance to actually help others.

Harvey proposes to and marries Donna at Louis and Shelia’s wedding reception. Donna also decides to leave and the pair joins Mike and Rachel at their public interest firm in Seattle. So, out of the original crew, Louis Litt is the last man standing at what becomes Litt Wheeler Williams Bennett. It was a satisfying ending for Harvey and bittersweet to see him walk out of his office for the last time.

We can only assume that the pair still lives in Seattle. Hopefully, they are continuing to do work that feels more morally satisfying. Harvey Specter will make his way to LA to help (or at least annoy) his old buddy. What new things will we learn about Harvey? What has he been up to? The answers are coming soon.
