TIMOTHEE Chalamet will ditch girlfriend Kylie Jenner the moment their relationship threatens his career, a top-level Hollywood source has warned.
The highly ambitious heartthrob’s A-list status has recently been cemented with the commercial and critical success of his latest movie, Wonka.
His ascent to the very top of the movie industry food chain has run parallel to the romance he began last year with reality TV princess Kylie.
Earlier this month the pair were pictured putting on a very public display of affection at the Golden Globes.
Pics of the couple kissing were however overshadowed by a viral clip of Timothée’s former cast mate Selena Gomez appearing to gossip about him and Kylie to Taylor Swift.
Selena later denied allegations that she had accused Kylie of snubbing her and Timothée appeared to play down the incident too.

But a studio insider who has a longstanding business relationship with Timothée, 28, predicts storm clouds may be gathering on the horizon of his relationship with 26-year-old Kylie.
The source said: “Timmy is dealing with a whole new set of decisions since Wonka went through the roof.
“One thing is for sure, he is determined to not let this new level of attention steer him off course.
“If he feels crowded or dragged down at all by constantly being around Kylie, he’ll exit the relationship.

“He simply doesn’t let his personal life subtract from his career at all, as a rule.
“Timmy is the most ambitious young actor of his generation and he’s managed to absolutely crush his most significant competition with pure box office and smart movie choices.
“But there’s going to be a problem if dating Kylie distracts him in any way from his trajectory, and she has to be constantly aware of that.”
Since its premiere in November, Wonka has grossed almost $500 million worldwide and has been lauded by critics.
Aside from taking the box office by storm, it also earned Timothée a Golden Globes nomination for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy.
It was his third Golden Globes nod after being recognized for his work on Call Me by Your Name in 2018 – which also earned him an Oscar nomination – and Beautiful Boy in 2019.
‘GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR AND THICK SKIN’
The U.S. Sun’s source says that the New York-born actor’s rise to the top didn’t happen by chance.
The insider said: “He has prepared his whole life for this moment and that’s why he can’t wipe the smile off his face.
“Apart from a couple of inexpensive movies that didn’t quite work, every big swing he’s taken has been a home run.
“The real surprise when you get to know him is that he has a good sense of humor and thick skin.
“You can roast this guy to his face and he’ll handle it with grace, charm, and a hearty laugh.
“It all speaks to his upbringing and background.
“He’s got great parents, and an actress sister who is totally comfortable with him getting all the attention, and he’s managed to completely avoid the drug and party pitfalls that come with a sudden rise in profile and wealth.”
Still basking in the success of Wonka, Timothée has another potential hit lined up when Dune: Part Two is released in March.
The epic science fiction film will see Timothée reprise his role as Paul Atreides, topping a cast that includes stars such as Austin Butler, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Javier Bardem, and Christopher Walken.
Timothée’s next project will see him play music legend Bob Dylan in biopic A Complete Unknown, which is due to start shooting this summer.
Asked what to expect in the coming years from Hollywood’s new top leading man, the source said: “It took him ten years, but he’s finally at the level of his idol Leonardo DiCaprio where he can get any movie made just by attaching himself to it.
“Suddenly the whole industry is wondering what this guy’s next project will be and if he can keep this streak up.”
