Sofia Vergara Says Final Goodbye To Joe Manganiello Marriage
According to online records, Vergara and Manganiello’s matrimonial home has been sold for $13.7 million. The deal was closed on Tuesday, with the new buyer’s identity remaining a secret; however, whoever they are doesn’t change the sale’s significance.
The Beverly Hills estate marked the final memory of Vergara’s marriage to Manganiello — a time she apparently wished to move on from by relisting the property for sale at the beginning of the year.
The “Modern Family” actress initially placed her former marital home on the market for $13.9 million; however, she didn’t get a buyer until the price was slashed to $13.7 million. As stated, the property made waves in 2022 when the then-couple tried to sell it for $19.6 million.

The Former Couple’s Home Was A Steal At $13.7 Million
When Vergara and Manganiello initially listed their Beverly Hills estate for $19.6 million, the former couple did so knowing the property’s worth. This means the new buyer shouldn’t have any regrets about snatching the mansion up for a lower price.
The property is a sight to behold, with seven bedrooms and numerous luxuries, including a full-sized gym, private pool, spa, movie theater, and more. Now that the property has a new owner, the former couple’s story is officially over.
Weeks before the sale, the pair had their single status restored after a judge signed off on their divorce. The Blast reported that the judgment of dissolution was passed on April 4, revealing the pair had settled their separation with a settlement.

Inside Vergara & Manganiello’s Divorce Settlement
According to the court documents, Vergara and Manganiello signed a prenuptial agreement before their wedding in November 2015. They agreed the prenup remained valid by the time of their separation and used it to settle their divorce proceedings.
Per their agreement, the former lovebirds waived their rights to spousal support and asked the court to terminate all claims of alimony or maintenance fees. The same applied to their attorney costs and expenses incurred in the divorce proceedings.
As for their assets, Manganiello walked away with all the items listed as his sole and separate property. This included his clothing, jewelry, miscellaneous personal effects, and all of his “earnings and accumulations.”

Sofia Vergara Was Sued For Unpaid Home Improvement Bills
Last November, The Blast shared that Vergara had been slammed with a $1.7 million lawsuit amid her separation from Manganiello. She was accused of failing to pay a contractor over $1.7 million for an extensive renovation of her Beverly Hills home.
According to court documents, Vergara enlisted the services of Reside Custom Homes [RCH] in April 2022 for construction work on her property and agreed to compensate for the job and pay the contractor’s fee.
However, she allegedly failed to follow through on her promises once the construction was completed. RCH claimed they finished the job by December 2022, but Vergara requested additional work beyond the agreed-upon scope.

RCH Claimed They Covered The Costs Of Vergara’s Additional Requests
The contractor noted the actress’s additional requests, including installing clay plaster in three powder rooms, an office, the cabana bathroom, the dining room walls, and the guest house living room. All of this resulted in an extension of the project until March 2023.
RCH claimed they covered the costs of Vergara’s additional requests, but she allegedly assured them that she would settle the bill. Per the document, she had approved an invoice of nearly $900,000 and had instructed her financial manager to make the payment.
Unfortunately, the payments were never made, according to the contractor, and they were left with an outstanding balance of $1,700,492.64.
Vergara’s lavish home has made rounds on her social media page, including a sweet clip of her dog chasing her niece through the expansive garden.
