According to the Pentagon’s latest report from the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), they received 757 eyewitness reports of UFOs (or Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), as is now the official government term for UFOs) over the past year. The AARO considers 21 of these sightings to be unexplained.
Many of the UFO sightings that were reported to the AARO over the past year, according to the report, can be attributed to satellites (especially Starlink satellites), balloons, birds, drones, military exercises, and aircraft.
Of the 21 eyewitness reports of UFOs that the AARO cannot currently explain, they include sightings of what was described as a green fireball and a multicolored jellyfish-shaped UFO.
They also include widely-discussed “GOFAST” footage that was taken by a United States Navy F/A-18, as well as a fast-moving silver orb that was filmed by an American drone in the Middle East.
“None of these resolved cases substantiated advanced foreign adversarial capabilities or breakthrough aerospace technologies,” the new AARO report claimed.
Last week, the Pentagon revealed an image of a UFO having a “near miss” with a commercial airliner over New York. No explanation was provided by the Pentagon for the incident.
“AARO is working closely with its IC (Intelligence Community) and S&T (Science and Technology) partners to understand and attribute the 21 cases received this reporting period that merit further analysis based on reported anomalous characteristics and/or behaviors.”
Last week, the U.S. House Oversight Committee held another hearing on reports of UFOs. Multiple former government officials and whistleblowers spoke and their testimonies were eye-opening, but the AARO still maintains they have no proof the extraterrestrial creatures or crafts exist.
“It is important to underscore that, to date, AARO has discovered no evidence of extraterrestrial beings, activity, or technology,” the AARO stated in its new report.
AARO also added that it “will provide immediate notification to Congress should AARO identify that any cases indicate or involve a breakthrough foreign adversarial aerospace capability.”
