The actor, 51, admitted to reporters: “Getting her in the car took about 15 minutes.”

However, Melissa was thrilled with her Christian Siriano flared jumpsuit and cape that she teamed with towering heels.

“I’ve never had anyone be like, ‘I can’t see over you.’ I’m like, oh, I feel tall,” joked Melissa.

She was handing out a gong alongside her co-star from The Little Mermaid, Awkwafina.

Another added: “I would have liked to see Melissa McCarthy in something less voluminous…her figure now is so svelte. Still is beautiful, just wish she wore a gown with a sleek silhouette.”
