Man Drives Vehicle Through Tents, Injures 2 at Lost Lands Music Festival

A man is in custody after allegedly driving his vehicle into a number of tents over the weekend at Ohio’s Lost Lands Festival.

Noah Curtis, 24, on Sunday was arrested and charged with aggravated vehicular assault after injuring two people, said Randy Thorp of the Licking County Sheriff’s Office. A man was treated for minor injuries at the scene while a female victim was transported to a local hospital with a broken hip, according to local reports.

“On Saturday night Licking County Sheriff’s department arrested a man after a vehicle was involved in an incident at the vendor camping area, injuring two people, one of whom was taken to a local hospital to receive medical care and is in stable condition,” reads a statement shared with EDM.com by the organizers of Lost Lands. “We are offering any information we can to local authorities to aid their investigation.”

Officials from the Licking County Sheriff’s Office’s Crash Team are currently investigating the matter further, the department said.

Taking place annually at Legend Valley, Lost Lands is the flagship music festival of renowned dubstep artist and event organizer Excision. The 2024 edition began Friday, September 20th and concluded Sunday, September 22nd.
