Jack White is offering students a more affordable way to catch his ongoing “No Name” tour.
Announcing the initiative on Instagram, White is providing a limited number of student-priced $20 tickets at the box office for each upcoming stop on his 2025 tour, which formally kicked off this month. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis with a valid student ID. The student tickets are only able to be purchased in-person on the day of the show, so be prepared to get to the venue early.
White, 2024 Artist of the Year, still has a major stretch of dates to come on his 2025 “No Name” tour. After a final pair of Brooklyn stops this evening (February 11th), the tour resumes next week in Boston; White will also make an appearance at the SNL 50th anniversary concert in New York City this weekend. Meanwhile, White recently took to Instagram to prepare fans’ expectations for his set length on the current tour. “Been hearing a lot of chatter throughout the year of this glorious electric touring about how long our sets are ‘supposed to be’ on stage. As if the length of a show determines how ‘good’ it is,” he wrote. “The Beatles and Ramones played 30 minute (ish) sets, and if I could, I would do the same at this moment in my performing life.”
Rest assured, the sets so far have come in at around 90 minutes, meaning there’s plenty of White’s haywire rock ‘n roll to go around. Non-students can purchase tickets to White’s upcoming concerts here.
