HODA Kotb has revealed a brand new project with an A-list star after leaving Today.
Teasing “we have something fun cooking” just weeks after her Today exit, Hoda has left her fans in a total frenzy after teaming up with Joanna Gaines.
Joanna is an interior decorator, television personality, and author, who co-hosted the home renovation show Fixer Upper.
The hit show began airing on HGTV in 2013, with Joanna known for hosting it alongside her husband Chip Gaines.
Taking to Instagram to share a slew of snaps and a caption that hints at her new project, Hoda penned: “Remember I was talking about repotting—- gotta take first steps….
“We have something fun cooking! Come along on the great adventure…..Stay tuned. I love @joannagaines.”
In the snaps, Hoda and Joanna were seen filming something with a group of people.
Reacting to the post, fans went wild in the comments.
One person said: “Can’t wait to see whatever you do next…..I know it will be wonderful! Just can’t wait to see you, your beautiful energy & enthusiasm is so missed!”
Another added: “This is going to be good!!!!!!”
“The duo we all love to see,” swooned a third.
‘CAN’T WAIT’
“This looks amazing, Hoda!!! Can’t wait,” penned a fourth.
A fifth then added: “The suspense is killing me! Miss seeing you in the mornings, but I’m so very happy for you.”
While a sixth wrote: “Hoda we really miss you on the morning show you were the real deal.”
Hoda wrote a letter to staff in September 2024 sharing her decision to leave Today, with the host departing the show last month once and for all.

On January 10, 2025, Hoda Kotb was sobbing on air after an emotional tribute on her last day ever at the Today Show after 17 years.
Today Show anchors presented Hoda with a surprise video montage of her best moments, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

She went on to explain that she hasn’t been able to talk about her emotional exit from the show.
Hoda confessed: “I’ve not been able to articulate because I’m a mess most of the time.”
She thanked Al Roker for being her “first friend here”.
Savannah Guthrie also joined in the tear-fest as Hoda told her co-anchor: “You’re my person.”
Savannah and Hoda became the first all-female duo to host the show in 2018 after the latter’s interim placement was made permanent, with the pair going on to form a strong friendship and bond.
