Shifty Shellshock, frontman of Crazy Town, has died at the age of 49.
According to the Los Angeles’ coroners office, Shellshock died at his home on Monday (June 24th). A cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
Shellshock — whose birth name was Seth Binzer — co-founded Crazy Town alongside Bret Hadley “Epic” Mazur in 1995. The rap/rock group is perhaps best known for their 2000 single “Butterfly,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Shellshock had been open about his issues with addiction and appeared on the reality television series Celebrity Rehab and Sober House.
