A body confident woman has revealed that she weighs 19 stone and thinks she's beautiful

A WOMAN has clapped back at nasty trolls who criticise her appearance and explained that she may weigh 19 stone, but she is beautiful.

Losing weight is by no means an easy task, but despite shedding a whopping 12 stone, fitness fanatic Ana Alonso has been cruelly trolled over her figure and has even been dubbed a ”snowman”.

Not only this, but a mean keyboard warrior claimed that Ana has the ‘absolute grossest build’ they’ve ever seen – but Ana was keen to silence the nasty haters.

Ana, who recently revealed she never thought she’d become a ”gym rat”, explained that she went from a whopping 30 stone to 19 stone, thanks to her dedication and fitness regimen.

However, whilst the success has been incredible, the young woman, who’s shared progress pictures on social media, has also become a target of vicious trolling.

The short online clips of Ana sporting figure-hugging gym gear have seen a flood of mean comments, with many slamming her ”front butt”.

But in response to a rude remark that read: “This gotta be the absolute grossest build I’ve ever seen”, Ana clapped back and wrote: “Gross in what way? Let me show you what I see…”

Ana then explained that she doesn’t see a body that weighs 274 lbs, instead, she sees a body that is “strong” and “can deadlift 255 lbs”.

Ana explained that she isn’t “ashamed”, in fact, she is “proud.”

She revealed that she has “built courage to be in places where ‘I don’t belong’ because of my size” and “doesn’t hide anymore”, as a result of the “acceptance and empowerment” she has developed.

The now confident Queen explained that she now sees “a whole other level of happiness” and has learnt to “love” the girl she sees in the mirror.

Not only this, but Ana was keen to clap back at those who have criticised her appearance, as she proudly described herself as “beautiful”.

I’m a size 26 & love showing off my curves… trolls accuse me of promoting obesity but I’m just fat and don’t hate myself

She concluded: “I may not be your type of beautiful, but I am the most beautiful version of me.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ana.fitness.vsg, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 219,100 views.

And despite the nasty remarks Ana has received in the past, social media users raced to the comments to share their messages of love and support.

One person said: “You look amazing, keep going girl!! You’re such an inspiration.”

Whilst someone else penned: “Such an inspiration, you look amazing.”

How to lose weight safely

Losing weight should be a long-term commitment to healthier living, rather than any drastic measures.

The NHS tips – which can be adopted slowly – include:

  • Get active for 150 minutes a week – you can break this up into shorter sessions
  • Aim to get your 5 A Day – 80g of fresh, canned or frozen fruit or vegetables count as 1 portion
  • Aim to lose 1 to 2lbs, or 0.5 to 1kg, a week
  • Read food labels – products with more green colour coding than amber and red are often a healthier option
  • Swap sugary drinks for water – if you do not like the taste, add slices of lemon or lime for flavour
  • Cut down on food that’s high in sugar and fat – start by swapping sugary cereal for wholegrain alternatives
  • Share your weight loss plan with someone you trust – they can help motivate you when you have a bad day
