The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that a familiar face will make a comeback in Genoa City. If you’ve been missing Mishael Morgan as Amanda Sinclair, you’re in luck based on the actress’ recent social media hint.
“Crazy hair don’t care… Cuz I’m going to LA,” Morgan said in the caption of her wild hair Instagram story. Since Mishael Morgan included “#YR” at the bottom, it looks like she’ll be reprising her role in some new Y&R scenes.
It’ll be interesting to see who Amanda interacts with during her return stint. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) always seems to be in crisis, so she could certainly use an opportunity to vent to her bestie and get some advice.
It’s safe to say Amanda will share scenes with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) while she’s in GC as well.
Amanda might show up at Devon’s door to clear the air now that she’s had some time to process the fact that he cheated with Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway).
Of course, there could be more drama if Abby happens to be at Devon’s penthouse when Amanda visits.
There’s even a chance Abby will move in by then, which could make things awkward once Amanda comes knocking.
Amanda might also commiserate with Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) about how their lives have changed since they discovered their partners’ betrayals.
Chance chose to divorce Abby, so Amanda might see how he’s holding up now that he’s carving out a new path.
Since a court battle is coming up over the Chancellor-Winters merger, Amanda could get involved in that, too. That might be the main reason for Amanda’s return to Genoa City.
As the lawyer who helped with all the contracts and legal documents, Amanda could become a key player in the lawsuit.
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may count on Amanda to help them win the war.
There’s no word yet on how long Mishael Morgan will be sticking around as Amanda Sinclair, but her return is great news.
Morgan is a talented actress who always gives 100 percent in her scenes, so fans will be eager to see her in action once again.
