SABRINA Carpenter is giving Taylor Swift a run for her money on the charts.
The pop star is taking the summer by storm with her two hit songs, Espresso, and Please Please Please.
The second single was released on June 7 and it was accompanied by a music video that starred her boyfriend, Barry Keoghan.
The video followed a Bonnie and Clyde storyline and featured romantic scenes between the pair.
Please Please Please debuted at No.2 on the Billboard Charts during its first week.
Following the success of the single, Sabrina released five additional versions of the track.

In addition to the original track and its clean version, Sabrina released acoustic, sped-up, slowed-down, A cappella, and instrumental variations of the song.
Fans took to social media after the releases and noted that Sabrina isn’t the only pop star to drop multiple versions of the same song.
Taylor Swift also released multiple versions of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, which was initially dropped on April 19.
One fan wrote in a Reddit thread, “Getting tips from taylor, i see.. no wonder sabrina’s been going so hard for her lately.”
Another joked, “Did she ask taylor for permission?”
Some fans speculated that Sabrina was dropping multiple versions to increase her placement on the Billboard charts.
“The charts are so broken,” another comment in the thread read.
“I hope she gets #1 but I also hope we rewrite the rules soon for charts and variants impact like this. It’s kind of feeling like a joke at this point and we all know it,” a second agreed.
“I hate that this is going to become the norm so they can compete with Taylor,” a third speculated.
CHART WARS

Just a few hours after TTPD was released, Taylor surprised fans with The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology.
The Anthology included the first 16 songs off the original album, but fans were shocked to see an additional 15 tracks, for a whopping total of 31 songs.
Taylor is selling both CD and vinyl versions of the album, in addition to another CD that includes the first 16 tracks and the last song on The Anthology, The Manuscript.
TTPD broke Billboard records, occupying the top ten spots on the charts after the release.
Taylor is the only artist to occupy the top ten positions. She became the first artist to do so after the release of Midnights and broke her own record with TTPD.
Taylor also released an exclusive Target edition of the vinyl and multiple different deluxe versions that were only available for purchase within a 48-hour window.
Taylor has continued releasing different variants of the album and their corresponding tracks since TTPD was released in April.
She recently dropped a new version that included live recordings from her Paris set to UK audiences.
Meanwhile, Sabrina’s hit Espresso was released on April 11 and has been climbing the charts ever since.
This past week, Sabrina occupied the first two spots on the Billboard Global 200 with Espresso at No.1 and Please Please Please debuting at No. 2.
Sabrina was quickly knocked from the top spot due to Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s new collaboration, I Had Some Help.
