Madi has a “fake it until you make it” approach to life and happiness. “That’s my motto in life! The second that you have a positive mindset, even if you’re having your worst day, then you’ll start to believe it and you’ll reflect that energy and you’ll just make it happen,” she told Here For It With Avani Gregg. “For me, I was like, ‘I’m so ugly’ but I’m not going to talk about it. I’m the most beautiful person on this planet…People can tell you a million times but the second you start believing it yourself, it means way more,” she said.
Madi loves outdoor activities. Jet skiing is one of her go-tos. She can regularly find her in her swimsuit riding one of the ocean vehicles. Per Health Fitness Revolution, the average 150-pound rider will burn up to 238 calories during a half-hour ride. The sport is also great for cardiovascular endurance.
Madi also likes another water sport: Stand up paddle boarding. The water sport can burn an average of 385 calories for a 140 pound male and 436 for a female the same size, per a study conducted by Arizona State University. And, The American Council on Exercise (ACE) agrees that paddle boarding is great for the core and also a great form of cardio.
Madi also loves snorkeling and open water diving? “47 meters down,” she captioned this photo from one of her diving trips. “In 5 years, I see myself at the Bahamas, snorkeling, diving, just having fun… I also want to save marine life and do beach clean-ups with my friends!” she told The Teen Magazine.
Madi, who lives in Los Angeles, also likes to go on hikes in the mountains. “Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between,” explains the National Parks Service. Physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of certain respiratory problems. It also offers many mental health benefits, according to a Stanford University study. “The hike was rough,” she captioned this shot.
Madi eats healthy most of the time but she also indulges in a lot of junk food, per her social media. Her favorite food? “I love crispy tuna rice!” she told The Teen Magazine about the sushi roll.
