Brazilian model Lais Ribeiro is sharing a full-body workout with her 3.3 million Instagram followers. Ribeiro, 33, posted a video of herself training in an Alo sport bra and matching leggings, doing resistance training and mat exercises. “Lana Pessoa putting me to work 💦,” she captioned the post. Ribeiro works hard for her strong, sculpted physique—here’s how she does it, and what her beauty routine looks like.
Ribeiro’s beauty regimen is all about healthy habits. “I would say my health and wellness routine is a big part of my beauty routine,” she told Who What Wear. “For me, beauty starts from within and what you put into your body. I’m always drinking a lot of water and making sure I’m eating healthy, but I also love staying active so I can sweat out any toxins in my body.”
Ribeiro always works out after the school run. “I focus best on my mental and physical well-being by regularly exercising,” she told Authority Magazine. “I like to do strength training and lift weights with my husband. I always make sure to keep my routine whenever I’m not traveling. After I drop the kids off at school, I go straight to work out. I turned my garage into a gym and workout at home with my trainer. After my workouts, I like to get in the sauna and ice.”
Ribeiro prefers a minimal approach to makeup. “I think Brazilians have a much more simple approach to makeup, in particular,” she told Who What Wear. “Growing up, I spent most of my time outside or at the beach, so any makeup I’d put on would be very minimal. Because of that, I usually gravitate toward soft, glam looks, but every once in a while, I like to switch it up with a bold eye or lip. My hair routine is very simple—I deep condition weekly, and I usually just leave it down so my hair can breathe. I don’t like to style my hair too much myself!”
Ribeiro enjoys a healthy, nutritious diet. “Eating proper nutrition is very important when maintaining a healthy and happy body,” she told Authority Magazine. “Despite my busy schedule, I make sure to get my body the nutrition it needs with a balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains. In the mornings, the first thing I do is make green juice. You get all sorts of vitamins and minerals. It also helps with my digestive system and boosts my energy.”
Ribeiro is embracing her 30s. “I’m not afraid of aging,” she told Who What Wear. “I think the transition from my 20s into my 30s has been one of a lot of personal and professional growth, which has given me a lot more confidence. I used to be afraid of oils and adding too much moisture to my skin, but now, I embrace it! I know it is what will keep my skin balanced and dewy long-term.”
