Ledisi is performing at the big game!
The Grammy-winning 52-year-old singer-songwriter will perform “Lift Every Voice and Sing,” widely known as the Black national anthem, at the 2025 Super Bowl on Sunday (February 9) in the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs game at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Ledisi is married to Ron T. Young.
Ron was born and raised in Philadelphia, attending Penn State University. In 2018, Ledisi married the director and actor, and they also appeared together in the docu-series Black Love.
Many of her music videos over the years have been directed by Ron, including “Same Love,” “I Need to Know,” “Perfect Stranger,” “Sell Me No Dreams” and “Anything for You.”
