Manuela shares a lot of her favorite workouts on her fitness Instagram. In this video, she is seen doing Bulgarian squats. She captioned the post, “QUAD vs GLUTE Isolation. TAG a friend! @larrylegend85. There are two variations of Bulgarians you can do that will target the quads and the glutes! Here is an example of how shifting the knee above the foot to a 90 degree angle and moving the upper body forward and then target the glutes verses a typical Bulgarian where it targets the quads. ✏️ Each exercise is 3 sets of 15. SAVE for later!”
Manuela shared some of her favorite healthy foods in this Instagram post. In three of the dishes, she incorporated avocado as either part of the dish or a side. Manuela captioned the post, “Recipes I LOVE! Here are some recipes I’ve tried out and can say not only taste amazing but have so many benefits to the body when it comes to fueling, energy and sustainability. 👩🏽🍳TAG a friend you’d like to try these with!”
Manuela also loves cucumbers. She is seen including them in her dishes in her healthy recipes Instagram post. The Cleveland Clinic states that cucumbers are very healthy. “Cucumbers belong to the gourd or Cucurbitaceae family, along with pumpkins, squash and melons. This low-calorie fruit (yes, a fruit — it has seeds and grows from a flowering plant!) is chock-full of water and other nutrients, including fiber, vitamins A, K and C, potassium and calcium. One serving equals about 100 grams, or one-third of a medium-size cucumber.”
Manuela likes to eat salmon. One of the dishes in her healthy recipes Instagram post has salmon as the protein. The Mayo Clinic reports that the fish has a lot of health benefits. “Salmon is probably best known for its omega-3 fatty acids. Called EPA and DHA, these fats may support heart health, brain function and healthy joints.”
A fruit that Manuela enjoys are strawberries. In her Instagram post, she is seen eating strawberries in two dishes. The Cleveland Clinic states that strawberries are very healthy. “Strawberries are loaded with vitamin C. Eight medium strawberries contain 160% of your daily recommended amount — the amount that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recommends you eat every day. That’s more vitamin C than you get from an orange, the fruit famous for its vitamin C.”
