Better known as @cakefaced_courtney on Tiktok, the influencer has become known for her transformative make-up looks and beauty tips on the app.
Though she got a staggering 77,000 followers online, the beauty whizz has come under fire for using contour to give herself a sculpted face.
In fact, her page is littered with cruel comments likening her to Family Guy’s Peter Griffin and Miss Piggy as people make jokes about her plus-size frame.
“Could’ve just wasted that money you spent on makeup on a gym membership,” read one nasty jibe, with another adding: “Put the fork down and go to the gym…if you need all that makeup to look decent you are not pretty.”
Despite the endless hateful comments, it hasn’t stopped her from enjoying make up or sharing her impressive skills online.
In fact, the US content creator has continued to share how to get incredible contour with Courtney using cream stick and flat brush to cover her neck.
As she chiseled her jaw with the makeup, the viral sound of ‘She’s icon, she’s a legend’ plays over the viral clip as she hits back her haters.
Unsurprisingly, the video has received over 331,000 views with fans gushing about her good her make look in the comments.
“Keep doing what u r doing you are beautiful,” wrote one impressed fan, with other saying she ‘slayed’ and that the influencer was ‘highly talented’.
Many fans also lavished Courtney with praise telling her how beautiful she was, with another adding: “Some people are so rude and mean. Obviously not happy with themselves, it’s sad. You’re beautiful even without make up.”
A third then wrote: “People who put down others just see their own insecurities. You are beautiful.”
Whilst the influencer loved the endless compliments, Courtney has recently revealed why she continues to share her technique online.
Though viewers continue to criticise her body, the influencer revealed that she’d struggled with her sense of self after medication cause her to gain weight rapidly.
“I decided to start contouring my double chin because I went through a rapid weight gain due to medication,” she explained told The Daily Star.
At her lowest, in terms of confidence, the now-beauty guru started looking online at other content creators to learn their secrets.
“I was feeling low about my confidence so I found this trick to use while I work on losing weight. I learned the makeup trick from watching drag queen makeup videos,” she revealed, adding: “The results are amazing, it boosts my confidence a lot, and leaves my face looking snatched.”
After hearing so much about this influencer, we can’t wait to see what she does next.
